Mothers Day 2012

I had the best Mothers Day! I was happy and just full of love for my role as a mother. I'm really the luckiest to have the best husband and children!
So we started of our morning with breakfast tacos, that I put in the night before (crockpot) so no dishes! Then we went to our 9 o' clock church meetings. The children sang Mother I Love You! It was beautiful:) Then we came home and relaxed, we ate meat, cheese and fruit and played outside, I even took a nap outside for about 2 hours. It was great!
My favorite part was my sweet husband picking wild flowers for me so I could have a flower crown for Mothers Day. We have a tradition of corsages, but, I opted for this, this year and loved it!!
So enough about me, I have been blessed with so man many amazing examples of mothers. Starting with my own dearest. I love her so much and she truly is always there for me and always helping me do my best! She is an elect lady! My mom Maughan also, is such an amazing example of service and love! She did such a wonderful job raising her son, he is the best husband. Thank you, he is such a wonderful man.
These women both give and give and give some more. I don't know how they do it! Then my sweet sisters and close friends that are adopted sisters, cousins, all of you, you know who you are, I love you and Thank you for your inspiration and friendship! You are the best!
I really am so blessed, thanks for everything!
"Let every mother realize that she has no greater blessing than the children which have come to her as a gift from the Almighty; that she has no greater mission than to rear them in light and truth, and understanding and love; that she will have no greater happiness than to see them grow into young men and women who respect principles of virtue, who walk free from the stain of immorality and from the shame of delinquency. . . . I remind mothers everywhere of the sanctity of your calling. No other can adequately take your place. No responsibility is greater, no obligation more binding than that you rear in love and peace and integrity those whom you have brought into the world."

Last Day of Preschool

Porters last day of preschool was today and they had a bowling/pizza party at the local lanes. The boys loved it so much. It's funny the last time the boys went bowling was at Heath Kelso's birthday 2 winters ago when we were in Wenatchee, WA. The boys kept asking me why we don't go more. I just never think let's go bowling! But, it was really fun and they really had a great time!

Catch Up!

The last couple of weeks have gone by like a whirl wind! I got to take a trip to see my brothers family.I went by myself it was so much fun! I really love Florida! I got to spend some quality time with each of my loved ones down there!

Tim got another tooth pulled, and my boys got haircuts and Emmett got new glasses!

Then last week my dog had her babies! 10 of them! Matt and I had gone to the temple with Justin and Morgan and when we were on our way home the babysitter called and said we had 5 puppies! She had 10 by the end of the night!

Amelia woke up crying from her nap this morning and the boys quickly came to her rescue with cereal in hand! Such good children, I love them so much!

With the weather getting nicer, I'm trying to get more exercise and let the kids go with me so we get to go to the park and bike rides!

Dandilions

Emmett playing in the dandelions!

Good Morning

So I have to post this brotherly love! They are such good boys! And yes, both come to our bed at night. Porter 3-4 times a week and Emmett 5-6 times. So yesterday it was just Emmett and last night we had both Porter and Emmett!

Nothing but cute kids

So yesterday I re committed myself to do all the things I would / should do as a homemaker to make my life easier. Well it didn't quite go as planned. My dryer was having problems, so I had to go to the Laundromat. Blessing, it was beautiful, clean and I got
10 loads done in 4 hours! Trial Tim shattered my phone screen, It costs so much money, and took my day.

Then Tim had started 6 year old attitude, not listening, rolling eyes and picking fights. Is this normal for this age! It seriously took me 3 hours and 45 min. To make tacos (easy), clean up dinner, have FHE, and bedtime chores and baths. I had no patience by the end, so I went to bed felling bad. But we did get it done! Matt is such a great husband and he helps me so so much!

Then to top it off. I tried to do an evite on  the computer. 3 Times, it kept erasing so I just had to put everything away and go to bed!

But, in all this negativity, I had so many blessings and accomplished so much! I literally felt the war between Right and Wrong. The Lord would bless me and Satan would put me down. I am so thankful for the good Lord and his tender mercies! I know he loves us all. For instance, my new phone screen shattered, but I can still use it, and see through it. So its a blessing it wasn't worse!

So this put a smile on my face last night. amelia is crawling dll over and into everything. She was filthy from the Laundromat. So we gave her a bath!

Nothing like my cute kids to pull me out of a slump!

All about Peanut Butter!

Look at cute, adorable Amelia! Made a mess of peanut butter left by her older brother! Frustrated? Yes! Because he knows the rule about food out of the kitchen. But, all at the same time I'm grateful she doesn't have a peanut allergy! What a mix of emotions! Adored, frustrated and grateful!

Simple Bug Home

This morning while we were playing outside the kiddos found some caterpillars so I thought of these cute little contraptions! I don't know why I haven't ever thought of using tool before, instead of poking holes in the metal lid. But, they turned out even better than the thought!
